Treatment Delivery

Most of our treatments are based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) approach and can be delivered in the following ways:

  • Online workshops and courses
  • Telephone (via Wellbeing and Xyla Digital Therapies)
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Face-to-face

CBT therapy can be delivered by Video link (using Microsoft Teams) by our colleagues at Xyla Digital Therapies. This is a really flexible way of receiving therapy, and is as close to a face-to-face arrangement as you can get!

To get the most out of these sessions, it's important to arrange to be in an environment that is confidential and will allow you to concentrate on the appointment purpose (e.g. not driving, not in a public place, not looking after a child).

You might have the opportunity to opt in to this mode of CBT delivery during your journey with Wellbeing. Please let us know when you refer, or at the earliest opportunity, if this method would suit your needs.

Please let us know at the earliest opportunity if this mode of treatment delivery would suit your needs.

All of our assessments are completed via a telephone consultation with a Wellbeing clinician, so you will already be familiar with talking with us on the telephone. Therapy delivered by telephone is convenient and flexible.

To prepare for each telephone appointment, it's useful to think about what it is that you would like to get out of the contact with our service and important to arrange to be in an environment that is confidential and will allow you to concentrate on the appointment purpose (e.g. not driving, not in a public place, not looking after a child).

You can receive telephone CBT or guided self help from our clinicians at Wellbeing, or you may be linked with our colleagues at Xyla Digital Therapies who also deliver telephone CBT. Either way, you will receive the same high quality CBT therapy.

Online workshops & courses

Our online workshops and courses allow you to access psychoeducational, CBT based sessions via a webinar which is really beneficial if you:

  • Feel too anxious to leave the house
  • Live in a rural or remote area
